A lifetime's work deserves the right next owner.

Yongo Valley Ventures is a husband and wife team. We're looking for one good company to acquire and steward.

What we look for

A clear picture of a fit, so we don't waste your time.

We're seeking an established B2B company earning $900K to $1.3M in SDE, based in Colorado, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.

If your business, or one you represent, lines up with the outline below, we'd genuinely like to talk.

Annual profit (SDE)
$900K – $1.3M a year. Steady and proven, not projected.
What we like to buy
B2B physical products, light & industrial manufacturing, distribution & wholesale, building materials & hardware, and essential services.
The edge we look for
A proprietary product, a patent, or a real competitive advantage. Something time and competitors can't easily copy.
Age & track record
Mature established business, with a clean and steady record.
Where
Based in Denver, searching to acquire in Colorado, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or Illinois. Will relocate for the right fit.

A strong fit looks like

  • Repeat customers and recurring or need-based revenue
  • A proprietary or patented product with a real moat
  • Operations that could benefit from improved systems
  • An owner ready for a careful, honest handoff

Probably not a fit

  • Direct-to-consumer or Amazon-dependent brands
  • Fashion, apparel, or novelty and discretionary goods
  • Single customer or channel dependency
  • Owner-dependent without support staff

Why Yongo Valley

Things grow in valleys.

Yongo is about going yonder, venturing toward the future with the optimism to build the life you want. Valley is where that venture takes root. Inspired by Yampa Valley, where families and businesses grow up over generations, not in a single season.

Who we are

A husband and wife: an operator and an financial analyst, buying one business to run as a team.

Joe Mascaro

Joe Mascaro

Operator

Joe has spent 15+ years building and running businesses in hands-on roles. He studied entrepreneurship at Babson, then went and did it: started companies, scaled teams, owned P&Ls, and built systems.

He ran ops for an architectural wall-systems importer from $3M to $18M and a team of 5 to 15. He co-founded a architecture & design building-materials company, steered it through a Covid-era pivot, and exited after eight years.

Allison Mascaro

Allison Mascaro

Finance & real estate

Allison will focus on the numbers. She holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT, on top of a background in finance and real estate.

Where Joe runs the operation, Allison structures the deal and manages the capital: how it's bought, how it's financed, and the discipline that keeps a good business healthy for decades.
